Watercolor
Techniques From
My Investigation Workbook (IWB)
This project was the
wash techniques using watercolor. We use wet watercolor pigment in a variety of
different ways. One technique that we did was the graded wash – this technique
you make the top dark and then in the bottom is much lighter.
This page is from the
same project. On this page I have
the salt techniques where after I paint the card I put salt in the surfaces
with the paint still wet – in the end it creates a modeled texture.
This is the last page
techniques from the project. On this page I have the masking tape wash,. With this process I put tape in some parts of the card and
then I paint the box around the tape. When the paint was dry I remove the tape
to reveal an untouched lower layer.
This project was about writing about a
memory that I remember and that was an important day for me and the other main character in the story. I wrote about my uncle wedding
which was a day I will never forget. I wrote the story from my point of view
which was easy because I just wrote why the day was so important to me and all
the details I remember.
This part is my uncle's point of view. I had to write the story in the perspective from him. It wasn't easy trying to write the story but it turned out great. I had to interview him asking him questions of that special day in order to write the story from his perspective.
This was a Spanish project was about drawing an ugly monster. We had to describe how they were looking. My monster had three eyes, two noses, fourth teeth, eight arms, and six legs. We also had to present our monster to the rest of the class.
This reflection is about all the work we choose for our portfolio. I had to write about all of them, why am proud of that work, and if i had the importunity to do the project again what would I change. In the last paragraph I wrote about how this portfolio shows my how I am as a learned over all.
